Canto Blu is a pretty new restaurant - spacious and takes online ressie. Located in sunset park, 8th Ave. Very unassuming location for a restaurant, we almost missed it, had my son didn't look up and saw their namesake above the eye level. The menu has pictures for the abc's and if you don't see it, just order it - they will make it. Use the menu as a guide but if know a dish by heart - order it! The aesthetic is very open, clean so definitely know it's new. I was however surprised that on a Saturday night, it's 80% empty... are we too early at 6:30?? I was also surprised the wait staff mainly speaks Mandarin... but thankfully one did speak Cantonese. Ironic since their name has “Canto” in it. lol Food wise - we ordered quite a few dishes to try, some goto’s and some new. The stand out - golden fried rice, salt & pepper white fish, and the fresh fish 2 ways, stir fry and soup with tofu and mustard greens - delish! The crowd favorite for the kids - the short ribs. Everything else was good but we’ve had better at our usual spot on 16th Ave. We enjoyed our dinner and if around 8th Ave, would come again.

This is one of the newer Cantonese restaurant in the area so the interior is definitely more new and modern looking. I think because it's a newer restaurant so for now even on a weekend for dinner, there is no wait and on weekdays it's pretty empty. The food itself there are dishes that I enjoy like the Crispy Golden Fried Rice with Double and Lobster Yee Mein. The other dishes for me were okay or meh. What I did like was their services, very good service and new space. Their biggest table can fit up to 20 people.

We came in for a family dinner and had such an amazing experience! The place from the inside and outside gave such a beautiful atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making conversations with us throughout the night and even helping serve and cut up the food for us, which we truly appreciated. We ordered so much food, but everyone dug in before we could even take pictures because it was just that good! Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back again.

Located in the prime location of sunset park we had an amazing crab dinner at canto blu last night . We celebrated our friend’s birthday by picking the king crab set dinner for 10 people . That menu can feed at least 15 ppl and every dish from the appetizer to the vegetables were so fresh and yummy. Highly recommend the food. Will be back to try the dim sum soon.

I found this place through social media and tried it for dim sum last week—ended up going back twice more for dinner this week! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is attentive and genuinely friendly. They even changed our plates multiple times throughout the meal, which was a nice touch. The restaurant itself is very clean, spacious, and has a beautiful high ceiling that makes it feel open and comfortable. I also heard it’s run by the same owners as BK Seafood Market, which is another one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to!
